I am running testing for my ride-hailing Apps. There is a problem with the Driver's App. It goes into a sleep-mode and quickly goes offline when is in the background. The Driver App must be running and active almost all the time..maximum time possible so that the Riders may find it online when requesting a ride.
I heard about a function called Wake lock which is meant to keep the Driver App active even when it is in the background irrespective of the smart-phone settings. I tried this with one developer but failed to implement it. The Apps sleeps within 5 minutes and goes offline
