App to control GPIO on an Android tablet via HTTP command

I have a smart mirror that has a built in LED strip with different color settings. There is an app that lets me control the light from within the application but I would like to control the light via a HTTP command from within the internal network. The mirror is android based and I have the trigger variables that are required to turn the light on/off as well as change the color. I just need someone to create a small APK that will wait for a HTTP command and trigger the relevant variables. Also as an addition, i would like it if i can get a status message from the mirror to see if the light is on. Please let me know how much if it is possible.
