Description

Everlytics is looking for a Data Architect with hands-on experience of building a Data warehouse with a strong understanding on Data Modeling, Data Quality, Data Security and Data Governance.

Technologies

Must have

Data Warehousing, RDBMS paradigm, Oracle and MSSQL.

Good to have

Distributed Control Systems, Historian Databases and Data Virtualization skills

Experience Required

Two plus years of proven track either on job or self-paced training projects.

Technical & Functional Skills

Overall end-to-end data warehousing architecture, from tools to middleware to data quality to orchestration software

Skills in digging through data sources to see what’s really there.

Conflict resolution skills.

General system and application development knowledge.

Good understanding on how the Data sources, Data Integration, Data Warehouse, and Presentation layer are wired together.

Understand the concepts of building one or many of the following DW types.

(a) Centralised Enterprise Data Warehouse; (b) Decentralised Independent Data Marts; (c) Federated; (d) Hub-and-Spoke architecture; and (e) Data-Mart Bus architecture.

Should have good Operating System skills.

Should have exposure to programming skills on DML and DDL.

Should have good exposure with respect to setting up and working with multiple development teams.

Certified in Data Warehousing.

Good understanding of Data Virtualization concepts and how it is different from traditional strategies like Data Lake and Data Warehouse.

Roles & Responsibilities

Study current data sources, their complexity and future growth

Collect and Define data and elements (DB View, Use case View, Domain View) by studying logical data model and granularity for database.

Create a Data Quality matrices template which will measure quality and completeness

Define a Data Governance framework

Recommended implementation architecture
