hello! very pleased to find a nice project involving machine learning. I usually take up image processing projects since I'm a research student in data science specializing in machine learning methods. hence, basically i work with classifier etc. pertaining to your task, I've worked on detection of tubules in lungs, cell bodies in neuronal stack images, however, have designed classifier for variety of tasks. kindly message me so that i can understand your datasets, sizes, SVM or whatever you've tried, any paper that you want to implement etc.....thanks (I'll revise the bid after we discuss)

Hi, I am Sourabh Jain, I am interested in the project. I have good experience with machine learning algorithms like ANN and Bayesian method. In this project, I will use labeled legion map as input for training of algorithm. I will use, most likely, ANN (feedforward with backpropagation) for purpose of classification. After classification, feature extraction will be performed using voxel intensities on T1, T2 and FLAIR. This data is required to be normalized, which is a tricky part as further processing (data smoothing etc) will depend upon it. I am using following references for this project. " A Comparison of Supervised Machine Learning Algorithms and Feature Vectors for MS Lesion Segmentation Using Multimodal Structural MRI" by Sweeney et al AND "White Matter Lesion Segmentation Using Machine Learning and Weakly Labeled MR Images" by Xie and Tao. I have 10+ years experience in machine learning and a PhD in image processing. I have been involved in projects similar to this. Previous in my team, wavelet was used for feature extraction and KNN and bayesian for clustering of MRI images. Let's share some thoughts and look at some sample scans at your convenient time.

Dear, I am a very experienced image analyst. I have 10+ years of experiences in developing computer vision/machine learning applications that are used on daily bases. I have been working on different computer vision project in the past and I am confident I can deliver great results. I am confident in programing in C++ and Matlab. While working for Garvan medical institute in Sydney I have gained a lot of experiences dealing with medical images (including MRI). To estimate time and cost exactly I would have to see the images and learn more specific about the project.
