Logo Design for Cure MSD Foundation. Logo Concept - MSD is a genetic disorder in children. The objective of this foundation is to 1. Spread awareness about MSD 2. Conduct Gene Therapy for MSD. So the logo needs to have - Cure MSD and images of Gene. Cure MSD Foundation is a non-profit cause devoted to find a cure for an Ultra-Rare Disease in Children called Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency (MSD). There currently on 70 reported cases of MSD in the world and only 1 in India, my 13 month old daughter Zoya. MSD is a genetic condition in children that is rapidly degenerative and fatal. Children with this condition are missing essential enzyme activity for normal cellular functions. Over time, cells in the body, including brain cells, clog up and become toxic. This results in devastating effects on the whole body and the central nervous system. The life expectancy with MSD is anywhere between 2-9 years and this journey is full of extreme pain and suffering with no major medical help. As a parent even the thought kills me. However there is HOPE. I am in touch with foundations in the US and Ireland (started by parents) that have worked tirelessly to reach Clinical Trials and the Gene Therapy (which is the only cure). There are best minds in the genetic field working on this project and have managed to find the cure in mice. However from Mice to Humans is an estimated 2-3 years with an expense of approx $5Million. We are a community of 49 parents fighting to raise funds and find the cure. I am in process of developing a website and video to run social media campaigns for Fundraising.
