WSDL XML Soap PHP app on our server is failing with about 30% of its requests/responses from a specific third-party service that calls it. Server runs on CentOS 7 + WHM + PHP 5.6 + LiteSpeed Web Server (although the same issue persisted when we switched from LiteSpeed to Apache). The Soap app on our server is software that a former programmer of ours wrote in-house. What it does is receive thousands of requests an hour from a third-party server which queries it for product pricing and availability data, which is taken from our catalog/server, and it then responds back by XML. About 30% of the calls fail (supposedly, due to missing request body from the requester, but I'm 100% sure that they are NOT sending missing or malformed requests because this problem only started about a week ago AFTER WE MIGRATED THIS SOFTWARE TO A NEW SERVER. The old server had a very similar server software/stack btw, making this all the more puzzling). Manual request/response (using Postman) works fine all the time. The original request was happened to exception & it also returned that the request text was empty (php://input was the method). This issue seems to be a very tricky one to solve; I already had one of my good programmers look into it without any success. do NOT bid for this project if you are not a very experienced programmer and server tech, as the issue may lie anywhere from the PHP code to more likely the server configuration/software.
