questions and proposal 1. you say 1000s columns. do you mean 1000s records or each record has 1000s columns? 2. redis is a key:value db. what is the format/data structure (normal json) you want in redis. an example will be very helpful. 3. the most simple way is to use bash shell and redis_cli to update the data. 4. a simple program, such a js program, should also work. but it may cost a little more. please drop me a message if you like the idea and want to discuss.
