I have an Ubuntu/Plesk server running on an EC2 instance on AWS. It's using the free version of Plesk and the AMI only allows servers up to our config on this free version. So we need to upgrade the EC2 instance but we can't as the AMI doesn't allow it. So we have to set up a new server. The existing server has: - a laravel application - Plesk/Ubuntu - links to 2 databases

Plesk to cpanel may take a little more time, but shouldn't be that much more. Once everything is in place, we can walk you through testing before making things live, and assist with correcting any problems. Normally issues only crop up when software version are different from the source to the destination (primarily MySQL php and Apache). Hi, I'm very familiar with Amazon Web Services. Are you using Route 53 for your DNS or another provider and additionally, have you attached an Elastic IP Address to the EC2 instance you are using? There are a number of approaches if you it was overlooked. I can set up a new server and ensure that there is no downtime when I change the DNS records or if you have to retain that IP address, set up some new instances and then configure an NGINX proxy to load balance between instances. Do you need to migrate SSL certificates across to the new server as well? If I script the new build using bash scripts, I will provide the full script as part of the deliverable.
