Likewise for Society at you need minimum of 7 members engaged in scientific, literature or any charitable purpose to start with your NGO. Coming to raising of funds you can raise funds via dues, sales, subscription fees, contributions, etc. or through grants from the government, nonprofit groups, or international sources. All the said three are qualified to register under Section 12A of the Revenue Tax Act of 1961 and are thereafter exempt from paying taxes on their income.
