We have need for a paralegal-type freelancer to process marketing data, extracted from the USPTO, and identify potential clients. The data is provided daily in the form of MS Excel spreadsheets which may be filtered, revealing ~300 potential clients which are distilled into ~12 worth contacting. The freelancer will need to be familiar with U.S. trademark law, particularly likelihood of confusion (Section 2(d)) and descriptiveness (Section 2(e)(1)) rejection bases. If the freelancer is sufficiently qualified and has experience responding to USPTO office actions, we may additionally utilize their efforts in researching and drafting responses. First and foremost, however, we need someone to mine the data, we which can instruct.
