Make my snowboard player go along rails! ( UNITY 3D )

Hi there,

I am creating a fun snowboarding game similar to ssx3. I have done a bit to it, and I am stuck on one area. Please read :

I would like my player to be able to land on objects with the tag "rail" and grind along it, The rails will be curved and go up and down, left and right. I need someone to give my player the ability to jump onto a rail and slide all the way to the end. Also, The player must be able to land anywhere on the rail and slide in the direction it is going - IMPORTANT

I do have the entire player script IN UNITY JAVA SCRIPT, Please don't use C#, unless you can make it co - operate with the java script.
