2D Animator needed to Create GIFs for a Teacher Training Website

We are looking for a 2D animator freelancer who will create animations of student and teacher behavior in a classroom setting that are compatible with HTML5. An ideal partner also has an interest in multidisciplinary collaboration and a passion for underserved populations. Children with disabilities are likely to engage in challenging behavior in the classroom. Often, teachers lack formal training in how to respond to these disruptive behaviors, and it is a financial burden to hire outside consultants to conduct face-to-face training. We want to create an accessible training package, Virtual Behavioral Skills Training (VBST), that will instruct teachers on evidence-based behavioral strategies. We strongly believe that individuals in under-resourced schools should be able to receive quality services. VBST is intended to be game-like, where participants play a teacher, who responds to various student behaviors in the classroom. The classroom background should include space for the student to walk and sit at a desk, while the teacher stands (facing away) in the foreground. Animations for the student would include the following: sitting at a desk, standing up, walking toward teacher/game player, yelling/looking angry, saying yes/smiling, saying no/shaking head, hitting teacher, throwing chair, slamming hands on desk, writing with pencil/paper at desk. In addition, animations for the teacher would include looking at the student, leaning toward the student to give instructions, shaking finger at student, shrugging shoulders, putting hands together. We are very flexible regarding the overall design and style of the animations, as long as they are clear for the participants and compatible with accessibility standards for certain disabilities (e.g., epilepsy, color blindness, restricted vision).
