Myspace is looking for a smart, creative, and strategic Social Media Manager to maintain the brand’s social footprint across platforms like Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and more.
Work with analytics staff to improve and refine reach and performance of social media to ensure the brand is meeting social and onsite growth goals
Pitch social and social-extension ideas to reach targeted Myspace audience segments
Work with the Social Director to hone Myspace’s social voice and grow social presence on both established and emerging platforms
Write, schedule, and optimize daily content across multiple social platforms, working with social and audience development leads to expand and refine social strategies as needed
Find and maintain relationships with content partners and social platform managers to develop syndication and partnership opportunities
Work closely with editorial, marketing, and PR teams to ideate and execute social-focused initiatives
1-2 years of social media experience
Expertise growing a social media account in terms of followers and engagement
Proven experience hitting key social metrics and skill with scheduling tools desired.
Analytical understanding, experience with data insights, and a working knowledge of social data tools a big plus.
Experience in program development including concept development, message creation, integration with internal teams, weekly reporting and project management as needed
Ability to work independently, quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
