As Social Media Manager you will identify social trends and create short form videos to nurture, grow our audience, and help generate sales.
About you:
Have you had some experience helping brands produce social media content - having the skills and knowledge to build out good quality social media content on a regular basis is more important to us than years of professional experience.
You have the ability to turn nothing into something by using creative skills to harness the latest trends across popular apps.
You're a creator. Images, videos, photos....you name it. Please share examples in your application.
Proficient with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Comfortable with a range of editing tools, such as: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, mobile creator apps, and in-app editing (Instagram Story creation, TikTok editing, etc.)
Responsible and collaborative.
About the role:
Distribute content on a range of platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), monitor engagement and other key metrics and continually optimise.
Ensuring that our brand is represented on social media in a way that is aligned with our values, vision and mission.
Produce and edit impactful video content.
Engage, Educate and Entertain our followers.
Write powerful persuasive captions that resonate with our target audience.
Conduct research: hashtags, timing of posts, stories and reels.
Help grow our database and social media following through strategic social campaigns.
Staying on top of social media trends and adapt for our goals.
Repurpose content into a variety of social gold (clips, gifs, graphics, photos, stories, reels, copy, etc.).
Collaborate with the strategy team and media buyers to develop new content ideas.
Applicants must:
1. Be motivated and have good communication skills.
2. Understand the beauty industry and able to write persuasive captions/copy that resonates with our target audience.
3. Have experience in the beauty industry, whether an artist, experience with beauty brands or use beauty products and services.
