Poetry and Art combined

Hi, I'm Denis Brown. I'm an autistic recluse, and this goes against every bone in my body, however, I am trying to overcome my barriers. So what I have in mind is writing a book on Poetry, unfortunately, this has been somewhat a recent discovery and annoying, to say the least now that I'm a 60yrs old. They say timing is everything, clearly not so in my world. What I am after if you can help is an illustrator with an obtuse sense of humour, spiced with creativity and dark humour to boot. Now that's a tall order already as that person, is me, and I'm busy! So your challenge is can you find someone that will fit that bill perfectly? If you can that will be a match made in heaven from a business point of view as I'm not looking after a partner, I'm a practising recluse. So the brief as you would ask is this simple. As an Indie Writer, I now have my heart set on creating an eBook to put on Amazon Kindle. The difference is I would like my poetry book illustrated if possible to the level that the artwork speaks as loud or if not louder than my poetry. For me, this has to be the key to the success of this book. It would seem that some of you are asking for clarity, on the brief of this project. I am a poet, and I'm looking for an illustrator to compliment my poetry. It's that simple. When I came across this website, I thought all my dreams would be answered. So far I've had one response. People, you need to dream a little bigger. This could be the door you have been looking for. This is about taking risks and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. "Learn to Take a Risk" what's the worst that can happen you don't get the award. However, the one that does, it is going to be life-changing.
