Based on arduino mega with ethernet shield Timing system for boat racing 2 switch inputs, one for start timer, one for stop timer 1 output, high when timing system is 'Ready' Basic web interface to set competitor number (each competitor has unique number), set timing status to ready (ready to start race), see result after race and choose to upload it to API for record keeping purpose. During timing, UDP packets will be sent every 0.1s with the current race time. UDP packet to indicate 'Ready' UDP packet to indicate timing stopped (race finish) Races are only maximum 60 seconds.
