Build a Solar Simulator App and relevant interface on RasPi

Hey! My name is Shreyas. I have a wide range of interests- from astronomy to geology, science to literature, music to coding. Interests are one thing but execution skills are a whole different ball game and that’s where I see freelancers as the perfect medium to bring my ideas to reality. Let’s jump in!! This is something I would classify as “fairly medium difficulty “. It will be complex though, very intensive. TLDR: Build an application that simulates the solar system. This app includes the data about the asteroids in addition to the planets (an application which works only for the plants is available). I want details about the zodiac to be added as well. Oh, and I want to be able to be able to play god by being able to make changes to the bodies (like change their mass and speed of rotation). Oh, it doesn’t end there: the gui should also let me visualise gravity wells, magnetic fields and planet umbra/penumbra regions. “SolarSimulator2” available for download from [login to view URL] is the existing software. Probably contact the guy to get the source code for the application. Add the asteroid bodies (which are over 30,000 in number) and simulate gravity and magnetic fields and their interactions. I want this application to run on Raspberry Pi with a 4.3” screen (or optionally on a 7” screen). An option to run it as an iOS app or a windows app is a benefit I would like to have. Details of the execution need to be worked out and I would like to brainstorm with you in case you are interested. The idea is so grand that nasa is probably the place I should be in ?
