I run an online business focused on providing education, training and advice to women on weight and body image issues. My audience is smart, savvy, university-educated 30&40 -something women. My work involves helping women feel better about themselves, so my messaging is encouraging, inspiring and uplifting. I am looking for a talented graphic designer who communicates well to help me repurpose an existing article (currently approx. 4 pages) into a downloadable, attractive PDF report that I will offer for free to new subscribers. This PDF will also form the basis of a social media campaign to attract new subscribers/traffic, so it is important that the design is professional, attractive and very appealing to my design savvy audience. The end product should have a high-end, welcoming and polished look. I envisage that the final report will be approximately 10 - 12 pages (as I would like the text to be spread out). It may be appropriate to include 1 -2 diagrams that draw out key points (I can provide rough sketches of what these may look like so will need you to transform them). I will provide photos as well as details on my business name and preferred fonts, colours, logo etc. when the project is awarded. I am also looking for a designer to work with me on a longer term basis - so if you do well on this I will keep you on the books. If you have experience also working on Wix websites let me know in your bid as I may need your help with my website too. PLEASE NOTE I WILL ONLY CONSIDER BIDS FROM FREELANCERS WHO HAVE CLEARLY READ THIS BRIEF, AND WHO CAN PROVIDE ME EXAMPLES OF SIMILAR WORK (IN OTHER WORDS, I WANT TO SEE YOUR PORTFOLIO). I've put 5 days on the timeline for the bid considering it is rolling onto the weekend, However I do feel like this can be completed in 3 days. Assuming i've understood your job post correctly,, You want to transform existing 4 pages into a 10-12 PDF document you can provide to new subscribers? This is supposed to be an informative piece explaining what you do, Are you asking for me to write more detailed text as I feel that is the only practical way to stretch a 4 page document into 10 or 12, In terms of images, I would like to discuss the style of this flyer/pamphlet.. As it may not be very good for business to mix graphic design with realistic photos? This is merely my opinion so you can state how you want it doing. As for websites, I have experience with Wix and Weebly. I imagine the website work is not attached to this project? If It was I would be inclined to request a higher price than my $45 for the pamphlet work. Also a request I make is that when accepting a project, you'll pay the freelancer fee, in this case it is $5. This is like a risk reduction tactic for both parties.
