Botanical illustration artists

OYA is a non-profit organization. Oya operates as an educational resource center, promoting the need to protect, preserve and conserve threatened plantae from around the world. We are one the many actors concerned with the life of plants, climate and environmental ecosystems and their changes. We are looking for artists who can creatively interpret selected flowers in botanical drawings. These drawings will be used to promote threatened flowering plants on fashion, i.e. t-shirts, and other accessories. Each artist will be identified as the artists under our specific Wearable Art. Objetive: A campaign to raise the awareness of protecting and conserving critically endangered, endangered and vulnerable, plants, If there are any artists available for this project please contact us know. Drawings: drawings must be submitted in formats for print (textile and paper) and for our website. The drawings must not have any background as they will be placed on different coloured textiles, etc. Price per drawing: We hope to have over 200 flowers to promote (for the first year or two). For each of these, we aim to pay the artist US 20 per design. Please contact Donna for additional information.
