I am working on a project scheduling airline flights and delays and I am stuck. I want to add a chart that shows the performance of the day based on how many delays there were during that day. After that, I want another chart that shows the count of delays based on airline for the date you click on in the first chart. So the second chart is based on what you click in the first chart. Please look at the modules "CompareDatePerformance" , "CompareAirlineDelays" modules and FlightDate class module. The data is based on the "Sorted January 3 and 4" worksheet. The charts are in "Analysis". The data to populate the charts is in"Analysis Data". Basically, I want my code to count the amount of "predicted delay bool" for each day divided by the total amount of flights for that day (Performance = delayflights/totalflights). This data can be found in the Sorted Jan 3 and 4 worksheet under the O column. Then I want to populate this on a chart for each date, January 3, 4 and ,5. Then when a user clicks on one of these days in the chart, it populates the second chart with the count of delays for each airline in that day. I tried to start the code in the CompareAirlineDelays module and the CompareDatePerformance module.

I have worked with interactive charts a lot, and use them everyday in my own personal finance management workbook. I can easily create the required interaction, although...it will require a slight re-organisation of your workbook. The chart that shows the performance on the day (the chart you wish to add) will need to be a Chart Sheet, rather than an embedded chart in a normal worksheet. This will enable the VBA interactions that you want available to generate the second chart based on what data point is selected.
