Freelance Job Proposal - HONG KONG We are working on a client project for an Australian manufacturer of organic products. We are helping them prepare for market entry to the Hong Kong Market. As part of the work, we will include an on-shelf competitor analysis for this market, which includes the following information: - Product Name - Competitor pricing - Country of manufacture - Pack size - Ingredients list - Product claims - Type of packaging (glass jar, sealed bag, sachets etc) - Promotion (if being discounted/extras etc) - Photos of front, back, top & bottom of products - For the fresh produce specifically, please find out the following o If the produced is packaged or loose o Stickers or packaging – Note down the company and country of origin the produce comes from o Price per kg o Different types of the vegetable e.g. purple sweet potato and white sweet potato The job will require you to visit the following retail outlets: - Wellcome - ParknShop - City’Super - Just Green Organic Convenience store - The Store - Three Sixty - Taste - Oliver’s - Life Wholefoods Market You will be required to go to the shelves where the following product categories are stocked: - Organic salad dressing - Organic noodles (Udon, Soba, Tumeric, Beetroot, Spirulina) - Organic pasta sauce - Organic simmer sauces/paste - Organic dried fruit and dried vine fruit products o Coconut – flakes/shredded/flour/sugar/cream/milk/syrup/oil o Sultanas o Raisins o Currants o Muscats - Organic grains o Chia o Quinoa o Rice – Brown/basmati/jasmine/wild o Oats o Amaranth o Buckwheat o Linseed o Pepitas - Specialty flour o Quinoa flour o Amaranth flour o Rice brown flour o Buckwheat flour o Tapioca flour o Psyllium Husk o Raw Cacao powder o Carob powder o Maca powder - Organic butters and spreads o Mape syrup o Brown rice malt syrup o Honey o Almond nut butter o ABC (Almond, cashew and brazil) Nut butter o Cashew nut butter - Organic broths o Chicken o Beef o Vegetable - Fresh produce: o Zucchini o Whole pumpkin o Sweet potato (Purple skin, white skin etc.) o Sweet corn You will need to photograph the products and shelf space section (where possible) and complete a competitor analysis template in an excel spreadsheet. Please note, you can take photos of the entire shelf space, and then complete the spreadsheet via Internet searching based on the products photographed in-store. Please supply the photos as JPEGs in folders, appropriately named and organised. You can share them via WeTransfer or Google Drive. We are prepared to pay up to AUD $750 for the completion of the job. You will be emailed a detailed product information list and excel sheet template to complete The deadline for this project is 25 July 2018. Please note that while there are many categories listed, there are not many items within each category as they are organic.
