7- Be able to draw the straight-line asymptotic Bode gain plot, given the amplifier’s poles and zeros
Know the different types of current mirrors (BJT and MOSFET) and their utility for biasing and as active loads
8 - Know and be able to analyze the four basic feedback topologies and their impact on input and output impedances, and gain.
9 - Understand the stability problem in terms of stability criteria and locations of poles/zeros
10 - Able to determine the gain margin and phase margin associated with varying amounts of feedback.
11 - Understand and able to apply different methods of frequency compensation to achieve stability
12 - Be familiar with the simple 2-stage CMOS op amp
13 - Understand the 741 Op Amp in terms of its DC bias, AC gain, input impedances, output impedances, slew rate limitation, and frequency response.
