Dear Sir, The board should require wireless chip which embedded MCU. This way(Bluetooth) it can be paired with mobile phone and knows the signal completed or broken via external detection circuit. I can make a circuit that upon connection (and/or disconnection) sends a signal to your cellphone through the local wifi. What kind of device do you have? Does it have methods to check if the circuit is broken or not? The sending messages to phone system is not difficult, all depends on your current device.

If you want to minimize the size and power consumption, we should avoid using microcontroller. I have a design which can send data to phone using bluetooth (without uc) and we can do your described task very easily.

I already have a model of the said system, just have to interface it with the app. It uses a aurdunio and a PIR sensor
