Hello,
I am looking for someone for a long term project (5-10 hours weekly for several months). Please only apply if you are a native speaker (or close to it)- also, if you only want to do this one file and are not interested in more- please don't apply.
I have some automatically generated content (gt translate from content in English). I need someone to proofread it and edit it, removing all the errors while doing so, but also fixing other issues, making the text more readable/nicer, fixing translation errors and so on. If something doesn't make sense, I would want you to edit it (based on the context) so it would make sense.
The goal is to have the final text (after you do your part) look like a native speaker wrote it (so that a random reader wouldn't look at the text and say "this looks like something a machine would create"). If something doesn't make sense, check what the context is- feel free to make changes to improve how the text looks even if it would alter the meaning of the text.
The general topic of the article is what does it mean to dream of a house.
As already mentioned in the first paragraph, I would have plenty of these if this first file is done properly- there would probably be around 600,000 words (~300 articles of 2,000 words on average), potentially even more.
To see who would be the right candidate for this job, I have one file attached below. I would need you to edit it according to the instructions above (I can also provide you with the original file if needed, but would like it more if you could make sense of the context without it). Then, if everything is ok, we would provide you with the offer for long term work.
The context of this article (and all future ones) is as you can probably already tell- about "what does it mean to dream of a house" (gt might have used word "desire" instead of "dreaming", please have that in mind). The file that needs to be proofread is "POL House" (the source file is just "English house")
While proofreading the file, please pay attention to how much time did you roughly need (average from the current freelancers working on it is 40-60 minutes). Also, I would very much appreciate if you would, in your bid for the project, write what would be your expected hourly rate for this type of work. In general- the more edits, the better.

Hello and firstly, thank you for providing such a clear and comprehensive description of your project.
I am unable to help you with proofreading the Polish text, so this is not a proper bid.
However, I simply wanted to advise that if your Polish version of the text is a machine translation of the English text you have provided, then the quality of the Polish will be dreadful and almost impossible to improve to the quality you clearly desire.
Your biggest problem would be finding someone who was totally fluent in both languages.
I would simply advise that if the Polish translation is a direct translation of the English text, you get the English text 'fixed' before the translation is done.
As an example, the article heading should be "What does it mean if you have a dream about a house" or "How to interpret dreams that involve a house" - the second one is the better one for the content provided.
Please excuse this strange 'bid' - I just like to see people succeed with their projects.
