DATABASE DEVELOPMENT We are a small business in Sweden offering a bed linen rental subscription service for private homes. In order to keep track of our stock and deliveries we have implemented RFID chips into our products. Upon each order every product that leaves our warehouse is scanned and the RFID number is connected to the customer. Once the customer returns the used bed linen the products are scanned again. This process allows us an overview of the logistic cycle. The types of data we need to store: – Customer adresses – Customer orders including subscription dates and shipping method – RFID data for each product – RFID data tied to each order and customer (including date) – RFID data for returning products (including date) – Weight of each product Examples of queries we need to access: – ”Packing list” = amount of products for each upcoming order + weight + box/bags requirement – Outstanding products for each customer + expected return date – Outstanding products (total) – Stock requirement (amount of products) for the upcoming 1/2/3/4 weeks – Number of uses of each individual product (how many times it has been rented out) – Amount of orders for each customer – Sales statistics, total and per customer PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR MORE INFORMATION
