Hello, Speaking (writing) by experience, over my ten (10) years of Data Warehouse designing and implementations, including Enterprise Data Warehouse for one of the biggest international banks located in Austria(my portfolio, position 3), and other international projects, and over 25 years of various implementations of databases provided by various vendors (Teradata, Oracle, Microsoft, and also open source platforms), I can say: 1. It looks like, it is a very early stage of the project. 2. The architecture of the Data Warehouse many times is related to the chosen methodology described as Kimball or Inmon school. 3. Also, the architecture shall be adjusted for the platform (like a database vendor (as Teradata, Oracle, etc.) the Data Warehouse is implemented as the reporting is implemented via Busines Layer (Teradata calls it BAL - Business Access Layer). Generally, I would like to bring here a very popular saying 'You are getting, what you are paying for', as in most cases I was charging over 60 USD per hour. (please see a page from my contract performed on site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for 13,500.00 USD per month, in my portfolio, position 2).
