I started my data entry/administrative assistant career at Beverly Hills Comprehensive Medical Group for 4 years and MaxHealth LA for 1 year, with my primary duties being filing, faxing, data entry, processing medical records, customer service, responsible for managing and regularly updating confidential patient files and demographics to ensure HIPAA Compliance and tending to their documents and excel spreadsheets. I also assisted the billing department regarding making sure each patient had the proper diagnosis coding and entering the diagnosis codes, CPT codes and ICD- 9CM codes. When I proved the most adept at data entry, however, I later got promoted as an administrative supervisor at Beverly Hills Comprehensive Medical Group.
I’m extremely detail-orientated and can spot documentation errors from a mile away. I'm extremely comfortable working dependently, working in fast paced environments and also have strong excel and data entry skills and abilities.
