We're working on a web based documentation solution, in which every website has to fit on a single A4 page and must be printable. All those sub-sites / pages are accessible with a menu link.
While we can generate a PDF / print the current website with native browser / OS functionality, we need a solution, that allows us to print the whole website (so all single pages) on one go.
minimal functionality requirements are
- print all sites strictly according to the styles in our [login to view URL] (no browser footer or headers on the output)
- output: PDF-File
advanced functionality:
- range setting, which pages should be printed (range defineable by page numbers and / or menu and submenus)
- status notification in %
minimal GUI requirement is:
- button "print current page"
- button "print all pages"
- inptut field "page range"
the sites are built in JoomShaper PageBuilder. PDF-Design must perfectly match our screen design.

Joomla 3.3 has the option to print articles, you have just to enable it. Then if you're browsing with Google Chrome you can easily print the page as PDF.
