Requirement:
* A sample Windows desktop application that can render HTML page including CSS and JavaScript.
Details:
* A custom browser control should be created which should be a static library.
* I am aware of few browsers that can be compiled as a static library like Chromium, WebKit, IE, etc.
* Visual studio provides options to use IE browser control to be invoked by a desktop application.
* We are currently using IE but it has few complications like when WPAD (Auto proxy detection) is enabled. Web socket for loopback IP is getting blocked.
* The above point is the reason for building a custom browser.
* Custom browser using chromium increases the package size, it takes about 81 MB, so chromium cannot be used. If it is possible to get a chromium lightweight static library about size less than 30 MB, it can be used.
* The custom browser can be lightweight i.e., with lesser functionalities, the main requirement is, size should not exceed 30 MB.
* Next option WebKit, did not succeed in getting compiled version but there are few third-party websites who succeeded in it like [login to view URL]
* This Ultralight SDK provides browser control as a dynamic library to get a static version we need to purchase it.
