In this project, we need to work on a tree which is a undirected, connected and acyclic graph in graph theory and find the diameter of that tree. Diameter is the longest simple path of the tree. Depth First Search should be used to find the diameter. Project can be done in c or c++. This project has to check for certain requirements with the input, likely input for the tree details should be given as adjacency matrix using an input file to program. Project should also include validation checks for square bit matrix, no self loops, valid undirected graph, valid tree. Model testing files will be provided. More details will be provided for person interested to take this project.
