Control Axis IP Camera Movement with C Application

EN: For our customer we need an experienced C-Developer for the AXIS Camera Application Platform. It is our goal to read freely predefined preset-positions (defined in the camera menu PTZ->Preset Positions) in order to plot a route by means of a 3D-Spline-Interpolation curve. The positions are to be passed by the scheme pos1->pos2->pos3->pos2->pos1… . The presets are three-dimensional coordinates (X,Y,Z or Pan, Tilt, Zoom) and the software combines them to a curve in which the coordinates are met precisely. Passing a preset must not halt the camera or make movement stutter in any way. The software MUST be coded for the Axis Platform. The camera-route MUST be completely smooth and fluid, movement MUST NOT stutter or halt at any point. It SHOULD be possible to change movement speed in the settings. We will provide a virtual machine with the necessary build-tools for the development process as well as access to a camera. DE: Für unseren Kunden, einen Skiliftbetreiber aus dem Großraum Salzburg, suchen wir einen erfahrenen C-Entwickler für die AXIS Camera Application Platform. Ziel ist es, für PTZ-Kameras frei wählbare Preset-Positionen (Einstellbar im Kameramenü unter PTZ->Preset Positions) einzulesen und diese nach der Reihe über eine 3D-Spline-Interpolation Kurve abzufahren. Die Punkte sollen nach dem Schema pos1->pos2->pos3->pos2->pos1…. abgefahren werden. Die Presets sind Koordinaten im dreidimensionalen Raum (X,Y,Z oder Pan, Tilt, Zoom) und sollen so angefahren werden, dass deren Zielwerte zum exakt gleichen Zeitpunkt erreicht werden. Wurde eine Position erreicht, soll ohne Unterbrechung die Kurve fortgesetzt werden. Die Software MUSS auf der Axis Plattform laufen. Die Kameraführung MUSS im Endergebnis vollkommen flüssig, rund und ruckelfrei erfolgen. Es SOLL die Möglichkeit geben, die Geschwindigkeit über die Einstellungen ändern zu können. Für die Entwicklung stellen wir eine Virtuelle Maschine mit den erforderlichen Build-Tools sowie eine Testkamera zur Verfügung.
