I am Mustafa, pursuing my internship. I have some experience on C language. My project is to build a C code where I use two timeouts. One timeout is compared with two timers namely timer1 and timer 2. the other timeout (sometime) has been compared with a time_diff(end - start). The timeouts has already been defined as #define timeout 20 #define sometime 2 After every 2 seconds a an output message should be printed which I have completed so far. The next step is to get the output every 500 milliseconds. which I am really not able to implement. I have used the struct timeval and struct timespec but with no success This is the base of the program as there is a lot more to do. If any would like to help please do let me know as I can share the code and the rest of the stuff. Thanks

From project description, I have understood that it related to imbedded system. if i would get your timer description , then i am able to manage this 500 mili sec timout. its all depend on timer specification . so i think by using timer struct it can be done. I have already done with such type of situation in my modbus protocol implementation. so if you give me opportunity , then i will definitely do this task completed within 2day.
