Hi. It´s funny how most people are either afraid of economics or, even more often, just bored with the subject. I confess that I was once one of those lost souls myself. Then I started to learn how economics shapes the world around us, including such basic aspects as the job market, factors involved in production and prices, and the availability of all the consumer goods we know and love. Now I work in a Watershed Basin Committee, where I´m involved in analyzing the true value of water and how much the companies that profit from this resource should be charged in the southeastern region of Brazil´s Atlantic Rainforest. I also write, revise and translate academic texts, technical reports, procedural manuals, strategic plans and government contracts. Although I live in Brazil, I am an American writer, researcher, editor, proofreader and translator (Portuguese and Spanish), a native English speaker with excellent language skills and years of experience. I can use Word´s Track Changes to show you all my corrections, alterations, comments and suggestions in your text. I would enjoy working with you on this project, but I´d like to see the text first to understand the full scope of what needs to be done to make it not only readable in English, but interesting enough to attract readers and hold their attention, as well as its present length and the quality of the English. Please contact me for further discussion. Regards, David
