Engineering consultant focused on process optimization including work with clients who currently have limited automation. Looking to develop a tool to capture process data based on OCR from video footage. The application would accept a video file, break it up into images (frames) at a specified interval, extract text/numerical values, and create a data file with timestamp and value pairs over a specified time period. Note that video file will be recorded close up to the required text, and quality of text will be at a digital readout level. The text will also be located in a fixed location, i.e. the recording device is not designed to move under normal conditions. User submits video file, and enters capture interval and start and end times (relative to video length). Upon processing, user receives a .csv with Timestamp | Value entries for each interval.
