Writing clean and efficient codes for Android applications 1. Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level 2. Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance 3. Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code 4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features 5. Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols Qualifications and Education Requirements Preferred Skills 1. Formal degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or a related field 1. Have prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK 2. Have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store 3. Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP 4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications 5. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git 6. Familiarity with various testing tools 7. Problem solver with good analytical skills
