Food delivery apps

The overall system would be a combination of 4 apps as follows: - Mobile app (Android & IOS) - for entities to view menu, place order, track order etc - Mobile app (Android & IOS) - for delivery executives to use while delivering the order - Mobile app (Android & IOS) - for super admin to maintain inventory, users, orders etc - Web app (Android & IOS) - for super admin to do all the functionalities like in mobile app and plus other functionalities that may not be possible to offer effectively in the mobile app due to space restrictions etc App Flow: - Any entity (users, admin etc) may sign up (OTP) via mobile app. 2 ways to place orders after sign up: - For placing one-time order of food - For signing up as regular subscriber After login, the entity can: - Set their location (app should automatically do that and the entity may do that manually themselves too) - Browse through the menu - Show products divided by category type - Display pictures, videos, description, rating, price, add-on items etc for each product - Add items to the cart - Place the final order (after OTP verification for security reasons) - The payment is made in to the wallet within the app - When the order is placed then the payment is deducted from the wallet - Minimum balance to be maintained in the wallet - This minimum balance limit can be defined by the super admin from their app - The above payment flow is similar to how it works in Uber - Once the order is place then the entity may go to track order section to see the live tracking of the order to be delivered - View past history of orders - Can create & maintain the list of orders so that can readily use these lists to place repeat orders or may use past orders to place the new order so as to save time - Account details can be viewed showing transactions, balance etc - Can give rating on: - Delivery (for delivery executives or companies) - Food (quality, matching expectations, price etc) - Notification section - Viewing any new notification - Post a new message for the super admin - View post section - For viewing the description, picture, videos posted by the super admin After login, the delivery executive can: - See the order assigned to him - On order pickup - will update the status and live tracking would start plus notification (SMS/Whatsapp) would be fired - On order delivery - will update the status as delivered and notification (SMS/Whatsapp) would be fired - System would automatically save the location at order pickup and order delivery locations & would save the coordinates for future reference After login, the super admin can: - View/Edit menu items (can click pictures & videos for each product & it would be visible for them in the product) - Add/Edit categories - Add/Edit sub-categories - Add/Edit products - Add/Edit product add-ons (like in case of pizza toppings, type of crust, chilli or not etc) - View/Edit orders - View orders - Can filter on the basis of date, user etc - View/Edit Users - View/Edit users (see details, block/unblock) - View/Edit delivery executives - View food on the basis of ratings - Post section - Can create a new post with description, picture & videos and push it for broadcast. It is then visible to entities in their Post View section and a notification for the same in visible in their notification section - View/Edit details of payment integration - Can view the location of all the entities in the map
