Social Media Hotfolder

We providing devices that automatically share photos which are copied into a specified folder. So the needed software should be a hotfolder social media sharing tool based on the model of ifttt.com. Basic information: ----------------------------- • Our devices are running with Windows 10 • The software should be written in Java • After completion we get the commented source code • The source code and the APIs for the social media connections should be documented as well • We want to see mockups of the login screen before the development starts Program Information / Feature request: • If a specific flag in the windows registry is set to true, then the software runs on startup and shows a login window that offers users the possibility to login to Facebook and Instagram. This set of social networks should be extensible (as mentioned above, we need a documented API to implement in the future more social networks). For security reasons login dataset the social networks should only be saved to RAM. After successful login the user is asked what the description of the photos should be and how the album is called in which it uploads the photos. • On the devices we save images in folders named ‘prints’. So the folder structure is like C:/images/folder1/prints C:/images/folder2/prints The software should (when it is activated) browse all subfolders of C:/images for subfolders named ‘prints’ and publish those in the social networks. • If the software recognizes after the successful login that there are already photos that have not been uploaded yet, it asks the user whether it should upload them or not. So it is necessary to save a list of already successful uploaded photos. This should not be done in registry or something and not in RAM. • After successful login the windows closes and is still active with an icon in the notification area of the taskbar. By clicking on it, it is possible to logout. If the user is logged out, you can open the login window by clicking on it. If the above mentioned flag in the windows registry is set to false, this icon is not visible. Program Information / Feature request for second program part: • The first program was for social networking. As an additional distribution method, you need to create a program which pushes the detected photos o to a client (PC, Windows and Linux) inside the same network. The client displays the photo in fullscreen. (We need both, the clients software as well as the servers software) o via FTP to a configurable FTP-Server Milestones: ----------------------------- 1. Final remarks: ----------------------------- • All configurations should be saved in and configuration file, so that we can edit directories/paths etc. without going into source code. In this request I used to emphasize that I need a well documented software. I am very interested in a long term collaboration, and the software should also be used for the long term. So the documentation part will always be one of the main evaluation factors for a long term collaboration.
