I have phpMyAdmin installed on a VPS and for some reason it developed a fault when I was using it in a normal way, i.e. just inserting a new row to a table using phpMyAdmin. Now the security is broken on it (i.e. anyone can access phpMyAdmin) and sometimes I get an error when I try to export a database, such as: [login to view URL]: Missing parameter: what [login to view URL]: Missing parameter: export_type I would like this issue to be fixed and also for MySQL and phpMyAdmin and PHP to be updated to the latest stable versions. I am thinking that updating to the latest versions might fix the issue, but if not I will need the issue to be fixed in another way. I have root access to my server.

Hello, what OS+Version are you running on your VPS so I can see the latest MySQL version available. Also what type of VPS is it? Is it one with root access you SSH in and use yum/apt-get or is it a cPanel/WHM type? Can get this done for you same day of accepting (provided it's not late night of course!)

Mate, I use phpMyAdmin all the time and these sorts of issues prop up almost randomly! You are right, perhaps upgrading the versions 'could' fix it but it could also be in the database itself, corruption like this can cause these errors. I'll do my best to fix it and get it all running normally.
