image recognition: detect features and their position in photos

I'm looking for an expert in automatic image recognition. The task is to extract features from images, e.g. recognize doors in indoor photos. The solution must be capable of exactly pointing out the features' position in the image. Please list your experience in this area. We'll then have a Skype talk where I explain the task in more detail and show example images (which I cannot publish here).
