I am looking for a freelancer to help me with my project. The skills required are C#, Development needs to be in Visual Studio. I am happy to pay a fixed priced and my budget is £250 - £300 GBP. I am looking for a Windows service to monitor multiple paths for a couple of things - files created that match a list of file masks, and witness files being changed in any way, detection needs to trigger certain events, stopping services, sending emails etc. The service needs a GUI that resides in the system tray whilst the service is running, which allows the configuration of various user configurable options - email server, paths to monitor etc. I have a very basic visual studio project I can provide to give a better idea of what's required.

Hi there, how are you? I can create the app in C# using VS. There will be 2 separate apps, one being the service process and one being the front-end (control panel). This is because the service in Windows cannot interact with the GUI. The demo you provided helped me get an idea of what you need.
