More Details will be required. It seems you are trying to create a GUI app for a PV Inverter over its Serial Communication Interface. The default parameters mean you already have the firmware. Since we are engaged in similar field it should be well within our expertise. To set Factory Parameters or Perhaps client control and monitoring. Only sending the commands from the list box may not suffice once that is done. We can do a full blown GUI Parsing with SQL data logging if you require.

The result is a software using C# (back end code) and XML as the GUI. The software will have a list box to write command. The command then will be converted to serial data (follow by protocol provided) to be send through serial port.
