...I am looking for a sample Cocoa (Objective-C) application which can read and write data to/from a FileMaker database, specifically SeedCode Calendar and Contacts databases. This application should demonstrate reading data, writing data, and modifying existing calendar and contact record(s). The UI can be very minimal; even the modifications can be hard-coded. I am primarily concerned with the underlying code and ability to access this data reliably, and cleanly to the extent possible. You are welcome to use ODBCKit () or other non-GPL-licensed open-source tools if you prefer. Or, you can create your own interface (ODBC-based or not) to the FileMaker data. We have a filemaker program that allow us to make budjets, bills and orders. We also have a computer IT software that allow us to bill our customers. In this program you input the hours you work for a client and the items you use and it automaticlly make the bill at the end of the month. It has some features like recurrent bills and some search facilities. We need to integrate this software into the flie maker one. This can be done in 2 ways, 1.- programming into filemaker something that allow us to do everything the IT software does. 2.- the IT software output a bill in xls format. I will create the FileMaker interface, but I'll for someone to create the scripts that will allow for synchronization with Quickbooks. We are transitioning FileMaker Pro databases to MySQL via Navicat. The XML that FileMaker exports does not work too smoothly when imported by Navicat. It needs a stylesheet to make the XML behave in a way that will work well with Navicat. It's a small job that I need to turn around quickly. This is to be done in Filemaker Pro 4.1 or Microsoft Access (preferably Filemaker 4.1) I am wanting a database with about 15 fields comprising textboxes and lists. An operator will be able to fill out the details of contracts using a form. The relational database will be able to count up total money from each customer, will be able to show all the times I have contacted them, name, address etc, date when hosting is due - and a report to show this each week, amongst others. My company needs new accounting program. We have mock up designs and flow through. We are a talent agency and this program will be geared toward our business. All the data is attached and I will explain it all. First, I would like the interface to look like Antibody.bmp. This is just a screenshot of the filemaker database.
