T-shirt design based on a song

We did a contest about a month ago called "illustration based on a song." We're coming back to do another design that will be specifically used for a t-shirt.

We're looking for only original work. Please do not submit copies of illustrations or other work that you may find online. We will disqualify those... Also, we're looking for a high level of originality, so please do not simply go to Shutter Stock and copy some vector art and add some text.... We will automatically disqualify those submissions as well.

Here's the brief:

We're looking for t-shirt design based on the classic song: "You are my sunshine"

Here are two cool versions that we really like, that you should listen to and use for inspiration:

We'd like the design to feel "county" or "bluegrass"... Maybe use a banjo or guitar, or a singer on stage as part of the illustration. That is not required, but might be cool if done properly.

And we want to incorporate the the following lyric: "you make me happy when skies are gray." The presentation of the lyric should somehow be incorporated into the design.

We're open to other elements and just want to see some really creative designs that tell the story of this song.
