15 seconds 2D animation - cartoon characters for long term projects

Build a 10 seconds video 2D animation with:

Very simple background needed, the idea is to focus on the character

-1. a personage walking downhill for 10 seconds, with a backpack, then arriving to a lake (personage as close as possible to but different to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7u5N2MfTNU&amp;t=6s)

-2. after 4 seconds of walking, the personage thinks about a birthday party (can be visualised in a bubble)

-3. the background does not need to be much detailed but it includes some trees (refer tohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0WYFXxhPGY for some inspiration)

-4. some voiceover (optional, not mandatory): “Today, Sam is going on a hike. Along the way, he is thinking about his best friend next birthday party”

Based on the entries, we plan to select a couple of contestants can be selected to work on a longer-term contract, including 10-20 videos each over the coming months. There should be work over the long term if a start-up matures well.

Head not perfectly round - can be a mix of a normal face and a round face (see example attached)

Option 1 - Drawing the shape of several trees in the background (ie same shape with different sizes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0WYFXxhPGY) + use of the same color or different color shades to present the forest / different color for the sky
Option 2 - Drawing parts of the background, ie. hills, trees, sky but using different shades of the same color

-Colors: Good job, pastel colours preferred :-)
