We are launching a website platform and would like to make a promotion video. you can easily google for our website, please search freelinguist, and you should see it.

The promotion video should be elegant and classy. if you don't win, but your video is great, we may also buy it to use it as our promo video. we need several promo videos!

No TEMPLATE! You need to customize the video based on our feedback.

Some of you only submitted a sample video. This is not acceptable. We need the COMPLETE promo video and we will award the one with the best promo video of our site, not a sample video.
Only COMPLETE promo video will be considered. After selecting the winner, we will give you further feedback on potential improvements. But you need to submit a complete video so that we see how you structure the video and express the ideas.

Also, make sure you have voice over! The video must have quality voice overs! The following examples of good promos are good and most of that is because of good voice overs.

It should be original and does not infringe the copyright of anyone. I've attached a script just for your information! You should be original and creative.

Feel free to decide your own design and implementation.
Please notice the many links on the page as shown in the attached pic.

Don't use the blue and yellow color of the existing homepage. We're redesigning the UI etc for the website. So, please don't use these colors. Make it generic, beautiful, and eye catching!

The key message is not about the existing website, how it looks like. The most important one is to impress the people so that they know:
freelinguist is providing professional language services of all type, like their personal language service assistant.
If they need to translate anything, they can come to Freelinguist for the service.
If they need to proofread, polish some document, they can come to Freelinguist for the service.
If they need to write an article, blog, proposal, they can come to Freelinguist for the service.

The translation can be between any language pair.
The proofreading and writing can also be in any language.

Entries featuring illegal acts or acts will be rejected. Entries with offensive graphics and/or words will also be rejected.

Video Requirements:
Accepted formats: *.mov; *.avi; *.mpeg
Minimum length: 45 sec
Maximum length: 3 minutes
Size: 1920x1080, 30, 60 fps
Encoding: H/264, Quicktime, Appleprores
Audio encoding: MP3
Audio: 64 kb/s minimum

For broadcast purposes, the finalists may be asked to provide the raw unedited files used during production of the video. This may include uncompressed QuickTime files, final audio mix and/or separate audio tracks for dialogue, music, and effects. Please hold onto all of your files until the end of the competition.
We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time.

    According to Freelancer's terms you have agreed to the following when creating contests: "For avoidance of doubt, the Buyer has no right or licence to use any entries other than the winning entry/entries." So you will 1000% without a doubt be sued if you use the videos that you didn't pay for (I don't know why no one told you about this here, but they might have briefly glanced through your brief or quietly waiting to sabotage you).     "All entries submitted for the contest will remain the property of Coneld LLC, "freelinguist dot com" and will not be returned to the participants." I hope you know according to "Freelancer.com", and DMCA complaints that unless each user that submits to your contest transfers their "copyright" over to you "in writing" (which is a contract) that they can sue, yes, actually sue you. Licensing and copyright transfers have to be mutual, and signed over by both parties or else if anyone in this contest gets angry that they were not chosen (and then see's your company use their work on the website) they can just go ahead and sue your company since you have no document with their written consent stating that they are transferring their rights (this is why "Freelancer.com" makes all contest winners sign a transfer of rights contract/document after winning the contest---so that the consent is in writing, and they cannot in turn go back, and sue the buyer).

      With freelancer.com you can optionally purchase each extra video you like so that the rights can be transferred so that freelancer.com can write up a contract for you. Just a heads up to let you know that you can still be sued with that statement you wrote as everyone here is contracted by Freelancer.com's terms and conditions...you are bound by their terms as well as you are using their site. I'm stating this as I know most companies do not want to be shockingly sued for an unknown mistake.
