I need 3 logos.
#1
I am a playwright looking for a logo to represent a new play, Alex & the Magic Staff. I want it to be simple so that people can incorporate it into many situation that they need it for to market the play if they produce it. I'm uploading what I have now. The artwork is okay, although it could be improved. I don't love it, but its the best thing we've come up with so far. The text definitely needs to be improved. Maybe all of it should be set in some kind of background? The main elements in the Alex & the Magic Staff story are that everyone is seeking a magic staff that is hidden in a rainbow (but that's a secret that gets revealed through a riddle so I would not want that to be too obviously expressed by the logo - it would ruin the audience's surprise). Also there is a Dragon that Alex has to face but not using the staff. The staff is used by Princess Nadia to change an Evil Queen and her evil minions into their opposites, who pose no threat to anyone. Alex leaves school through a magic portal in a locker that brings him into the land of Tartarium where he has all these adventures. Another idea we had for a logo was a locker with the door ajar and through it you see rainbow light or a dragon, or ...? But it seems like if the play is called Alex & the Magic Staff a viewer would not understand the Locker image. Also Alex is a boy, but the role could be a girl, so probably better not to put an image of a boy.
I like the look of this mtishows.com webpage of play logos. I think my website might eventually look like this.
https://www.mtishows.com/broadway-junior/shows
You can see how the logos on that page can be set into different contexts.
#2 . I need a logo for a website I am creating called playscriptsforchildren.com
#3 I'd also like a logo for my children's theater program called "Story Ninjas." We put on improvised fairytales for children with suggestions from the audience. I am attracted to the cute style of the Ninja images I uploaded. I'm not sure how to communicate to the viewer that the performers are fast on their feet and quick thinkers, like Ninjas, but that they aren't actually Ninjas. They are super creative and the challenge they face is making up stories not fighting other people. Not sure how to encompass that idea into a logo that is exciting and appealing to children.
