Highly skilled graphic designer and/or typographer required. Design a logo with an icon/ symbol and clean typography. Logo should look professional, modern, stable and corporate. The award winner will need to make this into a template for the following: stationary, emails, printouts, etc so it should also look good in color and black / white. We will require different variations of the logo, the raw file, a rendered file, and this logo as a template as written in the description above.

The winner will get to work with us in the future for other logos under our company. We want someone who is flexible and easy to work with and has the skills to convey what we want in the design.

Must have designed logos for a company in the following fields:
HEAVY INDUSTRY
MANUFACTURING
STEEL and METAL works

Please do not use any pre-existing fonts. The logo should be a strong wordmark. Use the word:

Biriel Industries (with emphasis on Biriel)

Inspirations for the logo: Rio Tinto, Civmec, Steelwork Compliance Australia, Georg Fischer, Caltex, Fedex, Hatch, IBM, Samsung, Caterpillar, ExxonMobil
Font: Serif or sans-serif (custom wordmark required)
Color theme: Blue and gray
Audience: Commercial, industrial and government clients
Logo must convey: heavy industry feel, reliable, trustworthy, dependable, stable

Notes: Feel free to add in your own take on the design but keep emphasis on the suggestions above. Keep the logo simple or if the typography is text-only it should have a strong and distinct wordmark (FEDEX, IBM, Google, Sony, ExxonMobil, etc)

*Winning bid will be awarded based on proposal and sample mockup design. Upon completion of project, all copyrights, trademarks, rights and future use of the logo will be transferred to the client. Contest winner will not be allowed to publicly share the logo prior to or after transfer of rights without consent. Awarded winner will need to provide raw files and templates with variations needed for the logo and put in stationary such as business card and word documents.

    Due to an overwhelming response we are now only considering submissions with a customized font. This is so that the font does not look generic. Also, along with the longer version with the company name we require a SYMBOL as a shorter version of our logo.

      This is to show to people what the overall company logo should feel. Bold, simple, classy, established. I have informed the designer to modify the font so it does not look too generic. Thank you for your feedback

    I will not consider any non-custom logos and those who have not followed the requirements. You can use a pre existing font but you have to tweak it such that it does not look generic.
    Contest will be awarded to a custom wordmark logo only.

    Please do not use any pre-existing fonts. The logo should be a strong wordmark. Did GOOGLE or YAHOO use a font? NO because a nice simple logo is a custom made wordmark. Please refer to the description for logo inspirations

      Meanwhile if you search "Brands that uses Helvetica", you'll see that there's 100+ famous brands using the exact same font.

      yes i know what you mean. but you have to refine them so they do not look too generic. you can use existing fonts as a template only

    This does not have to be in all caps. But the first letter in both words have to be. Please see the logo inspirations in the description.
