In search of logo designs for a watch and clock repair business. E. Wayne Scites Watch and Clock Repair is a full service repair and maintenance shop with an emphasis on vintage wrist and pocket watches and small clocks. The business has no store front and no large sign, so the ideal logo would be simple enough to display clearly on a business card or email salutation. Possible illustrations to work with would include the outline of a watch, dial, hands, etc or a small automotive or desk type clock (A grandfather clock, for example, would not be fitting because large clocks of that type are generally not part of the services offered).

We would be particularly interested to see design ideas that incorporate an 'escapement', which is an important part found every mechanical clock or watch. Sample images attached, more images can be found with a web search.

Possible font inspiration might be found in the fancy fonts commonly used by early American watchmakers on their dials and movements (more images attached), but other styles of text are also welcomed.

More possible design ideas could include a watchmaker's workbench or tools (see images), or watch parts like gears, hairsprings, etc, or the silhouette of a watchmaker working.

Desired color schemes include gold, silver, bronze, blued steel or other colors commonly found on an antique watch.

If the design calls for it, ''Meridianville AL" can be included in the logo.
