My website is www.themsag.com ;

Until now I used to sell books on my website that help students get into medical school. I am completely changing the website at the moment. A Magento developer is currently inputing all the content from the books into the website so that the content is freely available to browse by web users. The website will continue to sell services such as interview preparation course, personal statement editing, one to one coaching, etc. I am making many improvements to my website on a functionality point of view in the weeks to come.

I am looking for a designer that can help design elements for my website. It will be mainly sliders (I will change my website design to have a very larger slider on the home page). There will also be more design work for brochures, etc in the future. The target audience is prospective medical school applicants (teenagers) and their parents.

To choose the person I will work with long term hopefully, I want to create a contest for the first 3 Sliders. I need creativity, and I want the design to be good for the target audience and to be modern. The theme is education, medical school, university entrance. There needs to be some design consistency between the various sliders to give the website a feel/brand.

I was thinking of having an inspiring image/photo in background with the text above but I am open to propositions. If you are using photos, then part of the work is to find the right photos. I am willing to pay for the photos on top from stockphoto databases as long as they are royalty free and price is reasonable. Please tell me how much the photo costs if it is not a free one when you submit the work. Inspiring images I was thinking were of landscape and nature but I am open to any suggestions.

I will judge the entries of the following criteria:

1. Creativity
2. Make website user want to click / appealing
3. An original consistent theme/design idea that links the 3 sliders (like a cartoon drawn on each, or something that makes them part of a collection)
4. Colour scheme design appropriate for theme of education/medicine

3 Sliders to be created for now:

1st Sliders - The Medical School Application Guide Gets You into Medical School

2nd Sliders - We are making the content of the most popular medical school application guidebook available online for Free. We humbly ask for your patience while we update the website for a better user experience.

3rd BANNER – We offer the smallest Group Size Medical School Interview Course in London (9 students/3 doctors) … But that is NOT the only reason we have 100% medical school entry Success rate!

    Hi CH, i have a beautiful concept in mind that will give you unique feel and also a concept that can be applied on multiple SLIDERS but the time in short, so is it fine if i could submit 1 slider for now and if you are impressed with it and if there is time i can do the other 2 else it can be done during contest handover if i am awarded...

      Well depends on your idea.. you can show me.. but one of the most important things I am judging on is wether the 3 banners go together.. so I can't judge this without all 3. However, I am also looking for people to do more banners after the contest, so if I like your idea but you haven't finished and thus not won the contest... you can still do more banners for me for specific price. ok?       i am a bit puzzled out as we are running out of time... but i made a quickie and posted in entry #76 and it was just the idea explained in detail in the entry... so if you like the idea, you can hire me for more banners if i am not chosen here...

    For every one: For final submission please send me all 3 banner in one entry (and not multiple). Send me the banners separate and also the banner embedded on my home page so I can see what it will look like. If everything with final changes can be in ONE ENTRY ONLY, it will be a lot easier for me to look through and quicker to pick winner.

      Photoshop is good. I will make it an image file and upload onto the magento CMS in the space for the slider. I'd like to have the photoshop file though for minor text modifications etc if your design is chosen. thanks
