WHAT TO DESIGN
To design a range of marketing concept layouts and text lines that could be used on:
• Web banners
Or
• Posters
The winners will be asked to further design the finished range of banners and poster
NOTE: - you do not have to produce all the various posters and banners listed below. You can do examples for all, or some.
TECHNIQUES TO USE
The designs should incorporate design sales & marketing techniques such as:
• AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) [refer to attached ‘poster design’ document]
• SAR (Situation – Action – Result) [refer to attached ‘poster design’ document]
• Storytelling [you could potentially use parts from our ‘mission statement’ for this]
• Ordered font sizes
• Appeal to emotions
• Call to action
• Fear of loss
IMAGES
Until we have suitable photographs of our own, use stock images of:
• Outdoor lifestyles shot
• Surf lifestyle
• Beach lifestyle
• Relaxed urban/street look
• Relaxed gym/training/martial arts vibe
